DRY FOOD / ARTEMIA (Brine Shrimp)

  Artemia (Brine Shrimp) otherwise known as "SOLOWIEC" in form of cysts to hatch  or  decapsulated eggs is very fine food that successfully suitable for feeding fry.

 

INCUBATION

In order to carry out a proper process of incubation:

  1. Prepare the incubation solution using sea water or the current (fresh) with salt (sodium chloride). The salt content should not exceed 30ppt, which means 3 tablespoons of salt to 3 liters of water
  2. Recommended pH 8.0-8.5, in order to increase the pH of the use of NaHCO3 (sodium bicarbonate) in an amount of 2g per 1L of water
  3. In order to improve the hatching add 4-5 drops of hydrogen peroxide or hydrogen peroxide to 1L of water - preferably at low incubation
  4. Artemia thoroughly mixed with an activator and without ventilation cysts enter the amount of 2g per 1L of water
  5. The incubation process use a constant aeration with air in order to maintain in suspension cysts - bandwidth 5-6L/min
  6. Incubation solution was maintained at 28-30°C
  7. Provide permanent lighting - not less than 2000lux
  8. Incubation time - min. 24h
  9. It is recommended to use a container with a bottom hatch in the form of a cone
  10. After hatching disconnect the aeration, separate naulupie (naupliusy), using a thin filter before feeding rinse under running water

 

STORAGE CONDITIONS

  1. Cysts stored in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 10°C, protected from the sun
  2.  After opening the tightly secured against air
